Meet Marc

Marc Wong (CTC, CPDT-KA, AVS-ACDT) is a Singapore-born, certified dog trainer who specialises in science-based, force-free training methods (i.e. no fear and no pain). His expertise includes Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) based Operant Conditioning techniques (lure–reward, capturing, shaping, and obedience work) as well as Classical Conditioning techniques, including desensitisation and counter-conditioning for reactive, fearful or aggressive dogs.

After attaining a Bachelors, a Masters degree in Engineering and subsequently  a successful 17-year career in Oil and Gas in the United States, Marc returned to his lifelong love for animals by launching a home-based dog boarding, day-care, and training business in the San Francisco Bay Area. In just three years, his business served over 300 dogs and built a loyal base of 200+ clients - earning consistent 5-star reviews, including from several prominent Silicon Valley elites.

Driven to deepen his understanding of dog behaviour, Marc trained under world-renowned trainer Jean Donaldson at the renowned  Academy for Dog Trainers, graduating with honours and earning his Certificate in Training and Counselling (CTC). Influenced by thought leaders like Jean Donaldson, Karen Pryor, Susan Friedman and Ian Dunbar, Marc’s work is firmly rooted in modern behavioural science.

Marc has worked with dogs from all walks of life - including those with serious behavioural challenges. ​Now back in Singapore, Marc brings his international experience home, offering kind, effective, and evidence-based dog training to help local pet parents build a stronger, happier bond with their dogs.
